Interview:
Mel Mayle, MoneyPen Trainer |
|
Over the upcoming newsletters, we're going to be interviewing a number of people who can tell you more about MoneyPen, including clients and members of the MoneyPen team.
This month, we're interviewing Mel Mayle. |
Mel is our MoneyPen Trainer. She works directly with businesses that are in the process of first starting with MoneyPen, and helps them get a full handle on the various capabilities of the system.
Question: How long have you been with MoneyPen?
Mel: I've been with MoneyPen for about two months as a trainer, and have been using the system for seven months.
Mel tells us that clients usually mention sending job cards automatically, easy invoicing and certificate automation as three of the main reasons they're interested in MoneyPen.
Question: In your experience, what features do you think it would benefit clients to know more about?
Mel: There's a few areas that our clients aren't too familiar with at first. These include the scheduling capabilities of MoneyPen, using phones to have job details on hand, the ability to self service jobs from their phones, the ability to have clients do their own work requests, and allocating store rooms.
(Editor's note: Stay tuned for upcoming newsletters and MoneyPen Tips blog entries on these topics).
Mel ends with a last note:
Mel: Like any system, MoneyPen is new, and it takes a little getting used to using it effectively, but once you do it's great! It's easy to follow a process, you get full back up from staff at all times, and as much training as you need to get going. Nowhere else will you get one-on-one training like it!!!

MoneyPen: Questions and Answers |
|
Question: What type of phone do I need to run MoneyPen?
Answer: You can use most popular mobile phone brands. It must have BlueTooth to connect with a Pen and be able to access the Internet. |
Pens have operating systems, just like a PC. There are several types, and each will have slight differences in its setup and how it works.
A phone with a slightly larger display may be useful for easier viewing.
